It seems the only way to debug is to debug the whole file instead of just running the debugger on functions that could be run in the consoleAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14072938230563318780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8545564486086040404.post-52178841727131313212011-08-17T14:01:52.457-07:002011-08-17T14:01:52.457-07:00That's not what I meant and this is ambiguous,...That's not what I meant and this is ambiguous, you're right. Actually the feature requires the current IPython development version (which is v0.12dev) because v0.11 (the latest stable release) has a very serious bug affecting the API used for this feature. But this bug is already fixed in current development version and this bugfix will certainly be part of IPython v0.11.1 which will probably be released before the end of the year or so.Pierrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07971720438741545943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8545564486086040404.post-12472458811076964272011-08-16T12:50:44.810-07:002011-08-16T12:50:44.810-07:00Why target IPython 0.12, which for all we know may...Why target IPython 0.12, which for all we know may not be released until 2015, rather than IPython 0.11?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
